AICERA 2019-Emerging Technologies for Sustainability

Amal Jyothi College of Engineering, Kanjirapally has been organizing a series of International conferences AICERA (Annual International Conference on Emerging Research Areas) since 2011. Speciļ¬c conferences are held under the parent AICERA umbrella, the theme varying every year.

Past conferences held were:
  • AICERA-2017 : International Conference on Emerging Areas in Materials
  • AICERA-2016 : International Conference on Innovations in Structural
  • AICERA-2015 : Manufacturing & Materials Engineering
  • The 2019 edition, being organized by the Department of Automobile, Electronics, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, has evolved into the International Conference on EMERGING RESEARCH AREAS (Emerging Technologies for Sustainability).

    About

    The theme of conference is Emerging Technologies for Sustainability. Sustainability tends to be problem driven and oriented towards guiding decision making. The goal is to raise the global standard of living without increasing the use of resources beyond global sustainable levels.
    Advancements in Green technology is of paramount importance on account of global environmental imprints. Environmental issues cover e-waste generation, scrap disposal and sustainability concerns. These are compounded by the splurge in manufacturing, automobiles, electronic accessories, captive power plants and their attendant problems. The solutions to these detrimental ecological issues lie in formulating green technology which can be traced to dynamic pricing modalities. These technologies serve to strike the right balance between myriad green technologies which form the background of several activities, processes and systems. Hence it is imperative to develop eco-friendly materials, enforce green manufacturing and judiciously recycle by-products. Green technology will aid in manufacturing, automobile design, ASIC fabrication and design and grid-tied power integration.
    The central theme of sustainability extends to the variegated domains of Engineering covering Mechanical, Automobile, Electronics and Electrical streams. The conference is intended to act as a platform for researchers to share and gain knowledge, showcase their research findings and propose new solutions in policy formulation, design, processing and application of green materials, material selection, analysis, green manufacturing, testing and synthesis, thereby contributing to the creation of a more sustainable world.

    Scope of the Conference

    The aim of the conference intends to act as a platform for researchers to share knowledge, showcase their research findings and propose new solutions in policy formulation, green material selection and manufacturing, thereby contributing to the creation of a more sustainable world. Academicians and experts from variegated domains of Automobile, Electronics, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering are expected to attend, making it a truly productive one. The three-day event will provide exposure to erudite work by researchers in the field of engineering. It also facilitates interaction among academicians, engineers and research scholars. Sessions on the side-line will discuss recent advances, challenges, breakthroughs and research innovations on various engineering aspects of green technologies. The Conference also features invited talks, paper presentations and tutorials on current technologies.

    Conference topics

    While the Conference will broadly operate in four tracks- Automobile, Electronics, Electrical and Mechanical, the actual proceedings will be conducted on more specific sub-tracks, depending on the volume of papers being presented. While submission related to the essential topics (listed below) is encouraged, it should not deter prospective authors from delving into other related areas

    Call For Abstracts

    The Organizing Committee of AICERA 2018 invites researchers to submit the abstract (s) of their work/findings for presentation at the conference. Abstract shall be in any one or more of the topics to be covered in the conference

    Registration

    Registration fee includes cost of registration materials, conference proceedings, lunch, dinner, refreshments, special conference dinner and free entry to the cultural program. Registration fee for the accompanying person includes the attendance of the conference lectures, lunch, dinner, refreshments and cultural program.
